About Metro AI Ready

Building AI-Ready Communities

Metro AI Ready builds on 10 years of experience helping communities connect technology, education and opportunity.

Our Story

Developed by Metro Digital Group

Developed by Metro Digital Group, our STEM.org-accredited organization has worked with YMCAs, schools, colleges and community partners to create accessible learning environments where young people can explore gaming, coding, content creation, digital media, STEM and emerging technologies.

Our work has always been about more than access to devices. It is about helping people develop the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to participate in a changing economy.

Our Purpose

Preparing People to Work With AI

Artificial intelligence is transforming how people learn, create and work. It also has the potential to widen the opportunity gap between communities that are prepared to use it and those that are not.

Metro AI Ready exists to help close that gap.

We believe the next generation should not simply consume AI—or wait to see how it changes their future. They should understand it, use it responsibly and learn how to apply it to solve problems, create new ideas and build meaningful careers.

Our goal is not to prepare people to compete against artificial intelligence. It is to prepare them to work effectively with AI while strengthening the uniquely human abilities that technology cannot replace: creativity, critical thinking, communication, leadership, ethical judgment and empathy.
